It is clear that a lot of creativity has been injected into this production by some fantastically talented people. With a little bit of extra development, Bloom Girl could be something truly spectacular. Overall, Bloom Girl is an excellent, creative piece of art that touches on some really poignant points integral to this day and age.
Held in the historic Christ Church in Milton, in the heart of Brisbane, this makeshift stage reverberated a resounding eerie vibe – especially during the spooky season! This hall served as a perfect backdrop for the trials and tribulations of Shadows of Love. Following the story of three plays, this production shows us the highlights, the misadventures, and sometimes gruesome side of love!
Observatory Theatre’s Destiny Doomed is a brand new musical work written and produced right here in Australia. New musical works are very hard to come by, especially local ones, and it’s a true testament to Anina-Marie Van Wyk and Observatory Theatre’s commitment, drive and passion to create and produce original works.
Ad Astra’s production of Marvin’s Room is hilarious and gut wrenching. Though there are challenges for the team, the entire cast and crew have created a fantastic night out for anyone, and it is worth the trip into the Valley!

Ireland’s infamous legend ‘Deirdre of the Sorrows’ comes to life with a musical retelling by Brisbane writer and composer Anina-Marie Van Wyk in Observatory Theatre’s Destiny Doomed. Destiny Doomed combines heartfelt storytelling with strong messages about mastering your

SEA WALL is a phenomenal, top-tier show. A thought-provoking production that examines the importance of grief and how sometimes you just fall off the sea wall.
Dust off those leg warmers and chuck on that neon as Jenny & Angeline Wynter take you back to the 1980s for a hilarious night filled with laughs, fun and wigs? This hour-long show is fabulous for start to finish with the 80s vibe strung through the entire production. The show opens with the titular song by the duo, ‘The Wynter of our Disco Tent’ which truly set the tone for the show. Warming the audience up for an energetic and wondrous hour!
